Investment in the United States and energy supply chain issues have recently emerged as key concerns shaping both Korea’s economy and its national security. The Alaska LNG project, in particular, has drawn attention as an issue at the intersection of Korea–U.S. cooperation, energy security, and the shipbuilding and shipping industries.
The Economic Security Cluster is hosting a seminar with Hyo-jae Kwon, CEO of COR Energy Insight, an expert in the energy and shipbuilding industries. The seminar will be titled “Investment in the United States and Economic Security: The Geopolitics of Alaska LNG.”
Mr. Kwon has written Kwon Hyo-jae’s Great Transformation of K-Shipbuilding and Investing in Energy to Build Pension Wealth, among other books, and has consistently shared insights connecting the energy industry with geopolitics.
We hope this seminar will provide an opportunity to discuss the international dynamics surrounding Alaska LNG and Korea’s strategic choices. All interested participants are warmly invited to attend.
